Excavating Company in Cascade

So, I called Garrett about a wooded, brushy lot I bought in Donnelly that needed to be cleared. We met at the site, and he was early, which was nice. Garrett seemed knowledgeable about what he was explaining as we went over the site, so I hired him. These guys are fast. They flew through the lot, cleaned up all of the deadfall, dead standing trees and removed brush, bushes, and live trees that were in the way. Stumps? Not any more, they got them all., and mulched everything that they could. They scraped the whole lot and piled some logs for future firewood. Now the lot is clear, and open with room to decide what to do next. All in all it was a good job.

Garrett, was easy to work with. He displayed honesty, integrity. Showed up on time, was careful on property. I have had service twice both were well done.

I contacted West Mountain Dirt Works about a new septic system installation. Spoke with Garrett and his price was fair. Four days after payment the job was done! Working with Garrett was awesome. Lots of hustle and a “can do” attitude. Looking forward to working with him again.

Garrett kept us updated about the start date of our excavation, drain field and boulder wall work and the ongoing progress. He and his crew worked so hard and were extremely responsive, understanding and very creative in building the wall, giving us more than we expected. They are also knowledgable with our engineered septic system and gave us information the original installer did not. Five star rating isn't enough for West Mountain Dirt Works! We've had them twice at our Round Valley property this spring. Once to fix a disaster in our yard and driveway left by another company and next to demolish an old garage structure and walkway, rebuild a driveway, and prep a new walkway and building pad. Excellent communication throughout the process - on time - more than fair prices - and just great to work with! We will use West Mountain Dirt Works for every project we have. Highly recommend.

Wow, where do I start? We needed a 100’ utility trench dug in Garden Valley for a power line install and I am so glad that I contacted West Mountain Dirt Works. I inquired about an estimate for the project and was quickly called back same day. The price quoted was more than fair and West Mountain when above and beyond contacting the inspectors and utility representatives on my behalf to be sure that the project was done right. West Sound saved me a ton of time and hassle. We were on a tight time line to get the project done and West Mountain came in on a Sunday of a holiday weekend to get the project done a day early (how about that for incredible service??). West Mountain then backfilled the trench after the conduit install and a day letter they took the time to make sure all went well with the inspection. Professionalism, communication, value and experience were all top notch with West Mountain Dirt Works. I couldn’t be happier and I can’t recommend them highly enough for any project. They are my new go to for all my outdoor projects.

West Mountain Dirt Works did 2 jobs for us. One up in the mountains digging out and leveling out an rv pad. They did an excellent job. On time. Constant communication. Affordable pricing. We were so impressed with the job from start to finish that we also used them to complete a job for us at our home of bringing in 36 yards of rock for our driveway. They regraded it and did an excellent job of completing the job. We would highly recommend this company. We mostly appreciated the punctual communication and appreciating our time by showing up for appointments when scheduled. We had contacted numerous companies and they were the only one to call back. Communication, excellent. Punctual, excellent. Fair pricing, excellent. Will use in the future for more jobs.

He did a great job on a retaining wall that he installed for me and did an amazing job on a bird bath for my elderly neighbor!
